OUR PURPOSE

No Limits Academy (NLA) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been serving the children of Cape May County for 3 years. As a boxing and youth development center, NLA has created a safe space for local youth, while providing a multitude of services at no cost to children, or their families. Through Boxing, NLA teaches children the skills for personal, professional, and spiritual development.

For the many of NLA’s participants, their home environments are often troubled, resulting in unhealthy, cognitive development. In an effort to combat this problem and limit its youths’ interaction with these negative forces, the NLA Facility has emerged into an afterschool safe-space.

Most NLA kids report to the facility at 3:00 PM and do not return to their homes until 9:00 PM. They complete homework with onsite tutors, play sports in NLA’s Performance Center, converse with faith-based leaders and professional therapists, and/or engage socially with peers and mentors while eating a snack as they prepare for the 5:15 PM roll call.

The two-hour boxing program is scheduled Monday-Fridays, 5:15-7:15pm.  NLA challenges its children mentally, physically, and emotionally, all the while providing a fun and interactive experience that empowers them.
